If you have a talent for writing, you can put this talent to good use in your affiliate marketing business. First of all, you should be able to fill your website with relevant and accurate content so that your customers will come to view your site as a great place to get reliable information. But you can do even more with your writing skills as an affiliate marketer.
Write Ecourses
You will probably want to subscribe to an auto responder service if you send out ecourses to promote your products but if you have the talent to write them yourself instead of paying other writers to do this, you will save a lot of money and the cost of the auto responder service is minimal so it is worth considering.
An ecourse is nothing but a series of emails, often instructional and always informative. As with many other marketing strategies, this is not the place to do the hard sell; instead you provide informative content to your subscribers that arrives in their inboxes each day for 5, 7, or 10 days, whichever you decide. Marketers often give away free ecourses to build up their email lists and to entice potential customers to make a purchase. You can include a link at the end of each day’s ecourse that will point subscribers to your website or pitch page and give them an opportunity to order.
Write Ebooks
Internet marketers and affiliate marketers often give away free ebooks to their customers or subscribers, either as a bonus or to entice them to buy their products. The entire ebook may be filled with information that would be important for your subscribers to know and you could include links within the ebook that would lead the reader to your sales page or website.
Writing can be a large part of the affiliate marketing process and affiliate marketers who have the talent for writing are a step ahead of their counterparts. Still, if you don’t have the talent or time for writing, you can either hire others to do it for you or you can often barter with writers for an equitable trade of services that will benefit both of you.
Whether or not you write them yourself, ebooks and ecourses are powerful marketing tools that you will want to consider using in your affiliate marketing career. Again, as with the rest of the content you produce, make sure they are filled with information that people are really looking for to solve their problems and not keyword stuffed, link-filled copy that will be quickly forgotten.
